Environmental Statement

Future Med has a deep respect and profound commitment to protect the environment.  As a successful nationwide company, it is our goal to select and develop products and packaging that are as environmentally friendly as possible.  Future Med also maintains the goal to keep educating ourselves in order to stay current on the issues that will help maintain and achieve a clean, healthy ecosystem.

At Future Med we require that our products and our manufacturing partners’ products, services and manufacturing processes meet rigorous standards, ensuring the most up-to-date technologies available to help protect the quality of life for future generations.  This philosophy is one in which Future Med seeks to limit the amount of waste produced by our company.  We at Future Med ask all of our suppliers to join us in this same philosophy and business practices.

Future Med has selected No. 2 polyethylene recyclable plastic for most of our product packaging.  This type of plastic requires 25% less energy for production and can be recycled or used as an energy source.  Future Med also requires paper products, packaging and sales literature to use recycled or recyclable papers when at all possible.  Future Med is involved in research and development of new products that are environmentally responsible.

The environmental issues such as the green house effect, ozone depletion, solid waste, landfill, etc. are important to Future Med as well as to you at both your workplace and at home.  As both consumers and citizens of planet earth, we must all work together to make intelligent decisions that guide us in choosing companies whose products, services, manufacturing processes, and packaging have impact on the well being of our environment today and in the future.  At Future Med we are doing our part to reduce waste, as well as recycle and reuse our resources, and we encourage others to be involved too.  The small effort we make today will pay big dividends for a better, safer tomorrow!
